MIDDLE-LEVEL AND SENIOR DATA ANALYST

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced data analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing large, complex data sets and using various methodologies to identify trends, patterns, and insights that align with both the organization’s objectives and customer’s objectives.

Responsibilities
• Develop and implement data analysis methodologies (Descriptive analysis, Diagnostic analysis, Predictive analysis, Prescriptive analysis) to identify trends, patterns, and insights from complex data sets.
• Design, build, and deploy data models that support multiple analytics use cases across the business.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, customers, and partners to define and prioritize data requirements and deliverables.
• Communicate insights and recommendations to stakeholders through engaging data visualizations, reports, and presentations.
• Perform statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and data mining to support decision-making.
• Continuously evaluate and improve data quality, data processing, and data visualization practices.
• Manage and maintain data governance policies and procedures to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
• Mentor and provide guidance to fresher/junior data analysts on best practices in data analysis and reporting.

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in data analysis, data mining, statistical modeling, and data visualization.
• Experience working with data models such as Star Schema or Snowflake in the data warehouse.
• Experience using data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI, D3.js).
• Proficiency in techniques such as data cleaning, data integration, data transformation, data reduction, and data discretization.
• Proficiency in SQL and programming languages such as Python or R.
• Experience working with databases such as Oracle Database, Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL or PostgreSQL, and NoSQL databases.
• Knowledge of statistical modeling techniques, such as linear regression and time series analysis.
• Knowledge about data management, meta data, data quality, data governance.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills with the ability to communicate complex findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Experience leading and mentoring junior data analysts is a plus.
